As 2017 comes to a close, the Tuskegee Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) is gearing up for the new year. If you would like to learn more about our Chamber or see how we conduct business, we encourage you to attend our next meeting. You will connect with Chamber members and hear the exciting plans we have for 2018. If you choose to become a new member, we welcome you. With new members come new ideas. We’re open to hearing your suggestions on how we can make our Chamber more helpful and beneficial to its members and their businesses. If you have an idea for an event, project, fundraising opportunity or anything else you think would help you or your business peers, we want to hear them. We also look forward to current members rejoining. It would be great to continue the momentum we have developed working together in recent months. Chamber meetings are held the 4th Monday of each month at 6:30pm. For next month, the actual date is January 22nd. Look for a notice in this newspaper informing the public about the location of the meeting. If you intend to join or return, Please mail your application and check (payable to the TACC) no later than January 31, 2018 to TACC, 802 Crawford Street, Tuskegee 36083. You may also hand-deliver the application and check to this same location. Be sure to include your email address on the application, as most of our communication is sent via email. You can direct your questions or thoughts to the Chamber’s Executive Director, Karin Hopkins at ourchamberworks@gmail.com. This is a new beginning for the Chamber. In January we will install Loretta Alexander as President, Roland Vaughan as Vice-President, Bobby Davis as Treasurer and Fred Flowers as Secretary. Come to the January 22nd meeting and share words of support with them. The encouragement will be helpful as they govern the Chamber and address a wide range of BUSINESS MATTERS.
